Best Excuse to make a Brownie!

Wow. It has been a very long time since I have posted anything at all. :) I am trying to get back into the hang of taking pictures of my food and sharing it with all of you! When I was still a student working towards my culinary degree I had to take a speech class as a general credit. Let's just say speech isn't my idea of a great time, although I do admire those who are gifted in this area! Anyway, for one of my assignments I could choose to do a demonstration speech. Immediately I knew I was going to do some
sort of fantastic dessert and share some with my audience. Of course I did this in hopes of winning over my professor by way of stomach than by way of words. I sure hope that this one wins you all over as well!

For your enjoyment, here is a start to finish progression of a very decadent brownie tart. Of course I felt obligated to add some freshly whipped cream and raspberry sauce to the equation. I didn't think it would hurt :).

Now, I could just eat the whole thing as is
but a more formal presentation seemed
appropriate for my classroom setting.
And there you have it. I believe I got a 95% on this speech.
Although I'm sure it was the food that did the actual talking!
